BASE will provide certification to businesses that have adopted sustainable business practices. For now, companies can join the BASE community and become a member. In order to become a member, companies need to review the BASE criteria. Once this is done, businesses will need to perform a simple self-evaluation, which is part of the BASE membership application.

In the near future, we expect to have a much more detailed certification that will be performed by a third party. In the interim, focus on the elements in the informational resource section for your sector because we expect these criteria will become part of the certification process. We expect that every member business will strive for certification in all areas for their sector.
